For now I’m just going to talk about them in regard to how they treat Blair and Dan.

Chuck… I didn’t realize until late season four how many times Chuck has “fallen in love” with other women. From the random hooker named Elle, to Eva, to Raina, he has been 100% committed to devoting himself to them in a much shorter time than he was ever willing to do it with Blair. With Elle he was willing to leave the country and start completely anew for her after one random hook up.

With Eva (who if I’m honest is the person I would support him being endgame with) he was happy to leave all he was behind and become a better person for her. He was willing to give up “all that he had built” for her, while Blair wasn’t given the same commitment. Then with Raina, it amazed me how quickly he fell for her too.

Chuck wants Blair to always want him, but he’s always been clear that he could easily go on without her.

Serena…. Serena Serena Serena… I don’t even know where to start. I was indifferent to her relationship with Dan throughout most of the show. They were together, they weren’t together. It wasn’t until I wanted him with Blair that I looked back and saw just how much she’d been stringing him along the same way Chuck had Blair. Off the top of my head from memory I think it goes…

Dan On, Dan Off, Dan On, Dan Off, Aaron, Dan Sorta, Aaron Still, Dan Aagain, Dan Off, Gabriel, Carter, Trip, Nate, Maybe Dan, Colin Instead, Dan On, Dan Off, Ben, Dan or Nate I can’t decide STILL.

Serena has been so wishy washy about who she wants, and after all this time and so many different “I’m so sure I want this guy” only to be undecided again. I have come to the conclusion that Dan isn’t who she needs to be with. Whenever they are together she feels like she has to change or justify who she is in someway or another and he is constantly disillusioned where she is concerned.

I think Chuck and Serena should be with endgame with Eva and Nate, and for now that’s my opinion, As I See It.
